Shipping
Domestic Shipping Rates (Contiguous United States or Lower 48 States) excludes Alaska & Hawaii

All orders are shipped via UPS or United States Postal Service (USPS).
- We offer FREE shipping on all orders of Berkey Water Purifier Units within the Contiguous United States or Lower 48 States only. ALASKA AND HAWAII must first call or email for shipping rates.
- We offer FREE shipping on orders that total $50.00 or more (excluding shipping or sales tax if applicable within the Contiguous United States or Lower 48 States) Buyer may opt to select UPS Air or Express service, however buyer will incur additional shipping costs. Please contact our customer service for Express UPS shipping information.
- A $9.95 Shipping and Handling Fee will be applied to orders under $50.00.
- If part of your order is not available, or on “backorder”, we will send out the available items right away. Your items on backorder will follow immediately as soon as we receive them in stock, with no additional shipping charge.
- Buyer will be notified once their order has been shipped.
- Due to high demand and cost of products, some orders will be shipped in large boxes where these items will require an adult signature upon delivery. Please be sure to provide a shipping address where someone will be available to sign for the package.
- We reserve the right to change or discontinue FREE Shipping and shipping rates at any time.
- We reserve the right to choose shipping method with either UPS or U.S. Postal Service.
- Mail orders paid by personal or company checks will have a 5 day minimum waiting period before items are shipped.
International Shipping Rates:
- All International orders can be shipped via UPS or United States Postal Service (USPS) We DO NOT offer FREE shipping to international orders. Most international orders will require signature upon delivery.
- International orders via USPS will be charged a $50.00 shipping fee unless inquiries are made prior to placing orders and exact shipping costs are determined.
- International buyers may opt to select UPS delivery and pay the shipping costs to their destination.
Cancellation Policy and Returns
United States Product Returns: General
- Items purchased within the Contiguous United States or Lower 48 States may be returned within 30 days of receiving your merchandise for a full refund of the item(s) paid (excluding shipping fees if paid).
- Return of any “Free Shipped” items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. We ask that you please call customer service prior to returning, so that you may be issued a return confirmation code.
- Returned item(s) must be shipped complete in its original box and/or packaging.
- Buyers are responsible for shipping fees for returned items, as well as for delayed cancellation of an order that has already shipped from our warehouse.
- Buyer shall not incur shipping charges on returned defective materials or exchanges due to warranted materials.
- Multiple items in stock and backordered will have stipulation on cancellations and shipping fees. Example: Let’s say that Mark places an order for a water Purifying unit (free shipping) and a few additional items under $50.00. Should the Purifying unit be backordered, and the small items available, as a complete order, Mark would still qualify for free shipping on all items. However, should Mark decide down the road that he wishes to cancel the remaining items on order and keep the smaller items totaling under $50.00, then we would refund Mark for the Water Purifier unit less the shipping fee of $9.95 for items purchased under $50.00.

Bulk Food or Food Storage Items:
- Turn around time for shipping Mountain Harvest Food Storage is 5 to 7 days.
- Merchandise will be shipped using ground service where possible.
- Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight
carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on
the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has
left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and
inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage
caused by the freight carrier.
- Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return
department. You have 30 days from the ship date to receive refunds. You

authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to
you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number
written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a
RA# issued before returned.
Once a return is authorized by our return department you
should:
- Return the item to the address given to you by our return
department.
- Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
- Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of
loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service
(U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can
not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our
return department.
We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of
our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on
shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We
are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages (ripped or
torn bags), errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit
of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from
us.
International Returns:
We require for all International returns to be handled by our customer service. Refunds and credits will only be issued due to manufacturer's defect and such products must be returned within 30 calendar days of receiving merchandise. Please see Warranty Disclaimer. Shipping fees on International returned items will be the responsibility of the buyer. No Exceptions.
